Dipannita SharmaMiss Photogenic Dipannita Sharma made her film debut with 16 December. She was then seen in small roles in Dil Vil Pyar Vyar, My Brother Nikhil, 99.9 FM and Asambav. But what comes in as the biggest break in her career is the upcoming Balaji release Koi Aap Sa alongside Aftab Shivdasani and Natassha. In an exclusive interview to IndiaFM, the actress speaks about her future film and film future.

Koi Aap Sa looks like a fun youthful film. What is it all about?
It is a relationship based film. As you said very youthful and energetic. It involves college romance, friendship and just about everything else.

Tell us about your role in the film?
I play a young Arts student Preeti who is completely in love with Aftab and is 100% into the relationship. She is very emotional, but loving as well. She wants Aftab to be her best friend while he already has a best friend who is played by Natassha.

How was it like shooting with the others?
I belong to the same age group as the others so our comfort level was really great. Aftab is a big prankster and was really fun on the sets. Natassha and I got along very well too.

Wasn't there a sense of competition with Natassha considering that she is a Balaji favourite?
There wasn't any competition between us for the very fact that our roles are distinctly different.

What are your expectations from this film?
I don't keep expectations for any of my films. It is better not to expect because then it won't disappoint you. I hope the best for the movie. We have all worked really hard. The rest is up to the audience and God.

Dipannita SharmaWhich producers and directors would you like to work with?
Today there are producers and directors of many different genres. They have their own understanding of cinema and make different kinds of films. I would definitely like to work with Nagesh Kukunoor, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Shyam Benegal and Jahnu Barua. I think their work is terrific.

And which actor of the present generation would you like to work with?
Hrithik Roshan.

A lot of bold films are making the rounds today. Would you sign one such film if the role is right?
No dare-bare films for me. I am a little conservative when it comes to the clothes I wear on and off screen.

Your future projects?
So far I have not signed up for any films and am waiting for the release of Koi Aap Sa. If I do get roles that interest me then I will definitely sign up.
