Bunty Walia Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya, Hello Brother, Maine Dil Tujhko Diya - Bunty Walia had produced all his movies so far along with Sohail Khan, who had also directed all of them. With Ek Ajnabee, Bunty takes his production banner of 'G S Entertainment' on his own along with brother Jassi Walia. In an exclusive conversation with IndiaFM, the ambitious producer talks about his big film with the Big B.

Tell us about the plot of the film?
It's about a man (Amitabh Bachchan) in the army who is now jobless. He is called to Bangkok by his friend (Arjun Rampal) to work as a bodyguard. Amitabh thinks he is going to work for a family but soon he realises that he has to protect a little girl. The differences between Bachchan and the child are the focal point of the film until she gets kidnapped. Now Bachchan is out to find her.

Tell us about the performances of the cast.
Mr. Bachchan is as usual phenomenal. He is the main protagonist and the film is based on him. Arjun Rampal is the surprise package of the film. He looks good and has a good role. Perizaad Zorabian looks stunning and has a substantial role. Baby Rucha is a good kid and an amazing actress. She has done a fantastic job in the film.

What made you cast baby Rucha?
Director Apoorva Lakhia auditioned about 70 kids and somebody told us about her. We saw her and Apoorva really liked her attitude and that's how she's here.

What special plans do you have in terms of promoting the movie?
We had a special brochure, which people really liked. Now the first hoarding is up and soon there will be two more. The promos are on air already. There was a press conference in New York, which was attended by the local media there. Then there was a party there, which was attended by Amitabh Bachchan, co-stars Arjun Rampal, Vikram Chatwal as well as Jaya Bachchan Shah Rukh Khan, Abhishek Bachchan and Karan Johar. International celebrities David Hasselhoff, Naomi Campbell, Mathew Broderick and Sarah Jessica Parker were also present.

Bunty Walia Swimming against the tide, you have item numbers by guys instead of women.
There are girls in the song. Russian dancers as well as Indian. Arjun is the item boy and the promo is really creating a buzz.

Why Bangkok?
Like the title suggests "A Stranger Comes To Town". You can't be a stranger in your own country. Secondly we wanted a place where Amitabh and Arjun would stand out. Both of them are tall while people from Thai are short. Also we wanted a cosmopolitan area with lots of people.

There are a lot of special appearances as well.
This is more out of emotional reasons. Sanjay Dutt is like an elder brother to me. I requested him to do the rap song which he gladly did. Then Abhishek Bachchan and Lara Dutta were in Apoorva's debut film so that's how that happened.

Any memorable experiences during the shooting of the film?
Lots! It was like a big party with the family. Eating, drinking, going out to party and enjoying all night.

Lastly do you have any grand plans for the premiere of the film?
We are going to have it at IMAX, Wadala. Hopefully we plan to design it like Bangkok. All the stars will be there and it should turn out to be a great night.
