Liv Tyler says she'll never believe she is beautiful.

Monday, January 02, 2006

Liv Tyler The stunning actress felt tall and "gawky" as a child and says she's never really shaken off the feeling of being unattractive.

Liv also admits she was terribly shy around boys, and never got much attention from the opposite sex.

She revealed: "I've never thought of myself as a beautiful woman. At school, boys never looked at me that way. I was the tall, gawky one and I felt really awkward around guys.

"I was the friend rather than the girl all the boys were after." But the 'Lord of the Rings' star says she feels better about her looks since marrying husband Royston Langdon and giving birth to their baby son Milo.

She added to Britain's Grazia magazine: "Being married and becoming a mother has given me a lot of confidence because I care a lot less about what people say about me.

"But I'll never think of myself as beautiful. I'm like one of those women who have lost tons of weight but still feel fat because they've been fat all their lives."
