Pooja wild and happy

She doesn't think that she has done any sin by leaving her acting career and going behind cameras. Life is beautiful for Pooja Bhatt. Bipasha Basu, Udita Goswami and Pooja BhattPost-marriage the lady has donned the cap of director and PAAP is doing great business. Like father Mahesh Bhatt, Pooja has shed the convention of doing the masala routine movies, her movies JISM and PAAP both tried to peep into the darker world of sex. Here's an actress turned director who's doing all the talk.

Pooja Bhatt have always this fascination for presenting things beautifully on screen and differently. After the mega success of JISM, she thought she would present her PAAP to a larger audience, and was path-breaking when she got her movie PAAP premiered in Karachi Film Festival. The urge to be the best in her field has always been there and her competition is mainly with the male directors.

Pooja Bhatt always lived life to her dominionship and had the craze to become independent. She wanted to take the reins of her father's company forward and she is working hard on it. Ideally, it was more likely that an actress turns director after she turns 35 to 40, but Pooja didn't wanted to wait. Her father narrated a script that she liked and the rest is PAAP.

Bipasha BasuPooja Bhatt admires her dad's directorial ability to put emotions forward. Her dad always helped her to sharpen her acting skills and now, he is helping her as a director. Pooja believes that, if her films remain with people even for an hour after they come out of the theatre, she would think she has achieved something.

Pooja Bhatt is disturbed though of people talking of her making movies, only on women-centric subjects. She feels that her National Award winning film ZAKHM that spoke of female infanticide couldn't catch people's attention, as JISM dealing with sex and lust did. Pooja opined that it seriously hurts her to see that and hopes that people will group up pretty soon.

Pooja Bhatt met her husband on the sets of PAAP and they decided to get married. Pooja is delighted to get a husband in Manish Makhija and hasn't changed a bit post-marriage. She feels that marriage was quite a right decision on her part; like direction, she is quite at home with marriage.

Any mistake of identifying Pooja as tamed post-marriage would be wrong. Pooja has become quite wilder after marriage and is enjoying every bit of it. Her reflection of marriage could be seen in the movies JISM and PAAP. Touchwood, she does speak truth.
