Moulli Ganguly, the assiduous actress-model came in limelight with Star Plus' much-watched serial 'Kahin Kissi Roz'. She simply arrested the breath-flow of the viewers with her gleaming-intelligent performance in the author's specially-knitted character of Shaina. Earlier she was attached to the glittery-lavish world of entertainment but what shoved her to the heights was undoubtedly 'Kahin Kissi Roz'. Women started to copy her style and all wanted to be Shaina. This is called the actual success when people begin to follow you and here the victory happened with Moulli making her the icon of small screen and the goliath actress of tomorrow.
Ganguly - the recitalist with big-shiny eyes that speak volumes is an actress who gets into the skin of the character she portrays. This clicks with the audience. Having grasp dominion on the art of acting, she grapples brilliantly and registers whopping impacts on the minds of viewers leaving them mesmerized altogether.
Moulli's contribution to the small screen includes soaps such as 'Kksum' produced by the biggies of small screen Ekta Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor of 'Balaji Telefilms' on Sony TV where she plays the pivotal role of Vidhi; 'Sahib Biwi Aur Ghulam' churned out by Prasanjit and Pallavi Chatterjee on Sahara One playing the important role of Jaba; 'Sakshi' produced by Cinevista on Sony TV enacting undercover cop in the title role opposite Sameer Soni; Kahin Kissi Roz produced by the princess of television industry Ekta Kapoor with her mother Shobha Kapoor of 'Balaji Telefilms' on Star Plus playing the lead protagonist 'Shaina'; 'Karm' on SAB TV again under the production of 'Balaji Telefilms' and then Milan on Sony TV under the banner of Siddhant Television (Manish Goswami) where she was paired with television hottie dashing Rohit Roy.
This talented actress has also spelled magic with the dazzling world of modeling. Some notable brands adding to her portfolio includes 'Pears soap, Close-up toothpaste, Surf Excel, Bombay Dyeing, Asian Paints, Maagi and Pepsodent'.
Sanguine-go getter Moulli turned face to the gargantuan film industry of the world 'Bollywood' where she made her cine debut with Raincoat directed by the Bengali filmmaker Rituparno Ghosh. Acting alon with the beautiful Aishwarya in the lead, Moulli's character was that of 'Sheela', the wife of Ajay's friend played by Sameer Dharmadhikari. With aplomb, Ganguly sparkled and ignited the screen.
The spontaneous-optimistic Moulli Ganguly is an arts graduate (with majors in English Literature and History) from Calcutta University. Born on 15th December, she is au fait with Hindi, English and Bengali. She is very fond of oil painting, portraits, watching movies, collecting traditional items and reading non-fiction.
The intelligent actress believes in delivering the goods aptly and of course hard work is what she treads with. Thinking carefully for the future makes the upcoming time fruitful is her strong belief. Currently, Moulli is busy with her new soap 'Sarrkkar' on Zee TV playing 'Kruttika' with the biggies of small screen.
