Maushmi Udeshi, the name that displays beauty wrapped in talent, is the rage lass of modeling and showbiz world. This dreamy eyes, long curly hair, stunning model now turns actress with the forthcoming enterprise of renowned director Sameer Malakan's Lips - The Kiss of Death.

Stepping into the career route, she posed for the well-sold popular fashion and lifestyle magazines. Some notables are Cosmopolitan, Elle, Femina, India Today Plus, Verve, New Woman, Savvy, Beauty & Saloon and the list is endless.

The passionate Maushmi then continued her journey of success with TV ads and pocketed some of the best brands to be their ambassadress ranging from NIIT, Kit-Kat, Aristocrat Whisky, Montecarlo Thermals, Taj Hotels, MTV Promo (Non Stop Hits) to Stretchnil. She did a documentary on Kerala tourism as well.

Turning her face to print media, she touched the heights with Arena-Benzer Jewellery, Inter Jewels, Mystique Jewels, Saga Designer Stores, Indian Airlines, Trigger Jeans, Kala Niketan Sarees, Bacardi Calendars and many others. The success story did not end here and took this restless soul to international platform with the whopping ad projects in Dubai like Procter & Gamble and Galaxy Chocolates.

Maushmi is a trained bharatnatyam classical dancer from Nalanda Dance University and knows this genre of art with the brilliance of her mind. This stupefying actress's fervour then got her join filmdom where she did a Telugu film Oh! Priyatama and an art movie Tight-Rope Walker. This art-project tasted real success when the flick was selected in the Venice Film Festival amongst the best 10 films in the Short Film Category. Maushmi played the leading protagonist of a girl who fell in love with her own death in this dark psychological fare.

This breath-ceasing model has given numerous hit videos till date including Bally Sago's 'Noorie' (where she played a ghost clad in white sari holding a candle in hands) Nitin Bali's 'Neele Neele Ambar Pe', 'Pani Sharab Mein', 'Jaan' and 'Dil Ki Baat' (which is currently airing on all satellite channels). Maushmi is a lucky amulet for the singers and through her presence she helps the videos top the charts.

The curvaceous model now makes her Bollywood debut with renowned director Sameer Malkan's forthcoming songless romantic thriller Lips - The Kiss of Death. This emotional romantic thriller carries a strong storyline, which revolves around two leading characters Preeti (Maushmi Udeshi) and Lucky (Anuj Saxena). Since there has been a talk in media that Lips is a hot movie packaged with the sex sequences and abundant skin-show, in actuality this is just a publicity stunt and the movie holds a catchy emotional romantic saga, which will surely get the viewers glued to their seats till the finale. Shot entirely in various eye-candy locales of New York and Pennsylvania, Lips features her opposite Anuj Saxena (Famous small screen actor who came in limelight with the popular daily current soap 'Kksum'. He is also doing a serial titled 'Pratima' on Sahara Channel). The movie talks about an illegal Indian migrant in USA who gets a crush for the enigmatic young gorgeous-sexy wife of a middle-aged millionaire. The movie is laced with romance, thrilling sequences, passion and emotions to lure the audience. The film is expected to ignite the screens in June/July this year.

Today whatever this intelligent-workaholic celebrity has to her credit is just because of her own struggles, sheer hard work, passion, love and dedication. She believes in merits since she has no backing in this tough world of glittering stars but has enthusiasm to make her mark as she has done it now. Potentially superb, she would soon be seen amongst the biggies of Bollywood actresses with her ravishing looks and gusto performance.
