She is a popular actress down south. Bhoomika has given a couple of hit films in Kollywood. She says that for as long as she remembers she wanted to be an actress. Her career in Bollywood begins with TERE NAAM, which will be released on August 15th.

Bhoomika says that TERE NAAM has been a wonderful experience. She plays a Brahmin girl, who is simple and very good at heart. Her role sans make up and glamour, yet she is of the belief that this is the best launch pad anyone can ever get.

 
She alike the TERE NAAM team voices that, the film is not inspired by Salman-Ash love tragedy. Speaking about the male lead in TERE NAAM, she says that Salman has been a great help to her. Bhoomika feels that there is a lot of misconception when it comes to him. The actor has been very encouraging and exceptionally co-operative.

Bhoomika hopes that her first film in Bollywood appeals to the audiences. She is of the opinion that once this film hits the screen she would be ready to sign more films. By the way she already signed for Boney Kapoor-produced Run, opposite Abhishek Bachchan.
