Akshay Kumar reportedly doesn't want any Khan in "his" film. He seems to be allergic to word khan and wants to knock it from the film.

Are you thinking what are we talking about. Well Akki doesn't want the word "Khan" in his upcoming film with Farah. He wants to change the title of the film because it has ‘Khan’ in it.

‘Tees Maar Khan’, which Akki recently signed, is a Farah Khan film, a project which is written and produced by her hubby Shirish Kunder.

Farah's hubby was very firm on the fact that he only wanted Akshay to play the lead in the film. Looks like Farah whose favourite star is SRK had no choice but to cast Akshay. And Akshay is also making sure that he erases out all the traces of King Khan.

Akshay admits that he wanted the word  ‘Khan’ dropped from the title as reported by a daily. But when Farah explained the historical significance of ‘Tees Maar Khan’, a popular phrase used by Indians, he was fine with the title.

“‘Tees Maar Khan’ is a character out of an old folk tale. He conned his way into becoming the king’s general and even married the princess. Even today, when someone is a trying to be smart people use this phrase, Apne aap ko bada tees maar khan samajtha hain,” Farah was quoted as saying.

So Akshay proves to be a better con than SRK and so bags the role. Akshay has played similar roles in his many film. It is also speculated that the role of princess will be played by Akshay's lucky mascot Katrina.
