Deepika Padukone is playing a role of chain smoker in her new movie Karthik Calling Karthik and now she fears she might get an addiction in her real life.

But producer Ritesh Sidhwani has eased her anxiety by arranging her herbal nicotine-free cigarettes.

Revealing about her bold role the actress says, “"'Karthik Calling Karthik' is a romantic thriller and my role is quite bold and optimistic in the film as opposite to Farhan's which is a very pessimistic one."

The film is written by Vijay Lalwani. It is the story of a man who is freaked out as he gets phone calls from himself when the clock strikes 5. The film is expected to be released on Feb 12 next year.
