Bollywood green eyed hunk Hrithik Roshan has refused to play Vijay Dinanath Chauhan in Karan Johar’s Agneepath remake.The role he was to play was of an angry young man.

Hrithik is not too apprehensive to play Amitabh Bachchan in the remake and moreover, his date collides with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Guzaarish with Aishwarya Rai.

Karan is willing to start the project early 2010 and Hrithik said that he would be unavailable at that period and suggested him to look for another actor.

Karan Johar then shifted his choice from Hrithik Roshan to Abhishek Bachchan. Abhi is more than happy to play his dad in his favorite film is ‘Agneepath’. It was always Abhishek’s dream to play his father’s role once in his career and he finds Agneepath the perfect opportunity.

The 90’s super-duper blockbuster ‘Agneepath’. The movie had won several awards – Amitabh Bachchan won National Award for Best Actor, Filmfare Best Supporting Actor for Mithun Chakraborty and Rohini Hattangadi for Filmfare Best Supporting Actress.

It will be directed by Karan Malhotra, who was working as assistant to none other than Karan Johar. It is third Amitabh Bachan movie to be remade after Don & Sholay.
