Asin & Genelia has not only proved that actresses down South can  succeed in Bollywood, but can also give tough competetion to the already established top ranking actresses in Bollywood. And now following in her shoes is another South Indian hottie Trisha.Trisha is entering Bollywood with a hindi film tentatively named "Khatta meetha"  being directed by Priyadarshan  with none other than our "khatron ke khiladi" Akshay Kumar in the male  lead role.

Trisha a Tamil & Telugu film actress  first made her debut in films when she was offered a small cameo in the film Jodi. However, the first movie in which she signed up to enact the role of the leading lady was Priyadarshan's Leysa Leysa. Trisha established herself in south indian cinema by roles in film like Mounam Pesiyadhe & Kuruvi.She is now on cloud nine with all the success and her upcoming dream debut in Bollywood. It is said that Akshay Kumar wanted a South Indian actress to be casted opposite him in this film & after seeing Trisha's acting he was quite impressed by her and decided on her. She will also start shooting for Tamil venture Sarvam with Arya directed by Vishnuvardhan of Billa fame.
