Latin American bombshell Barbara Mori was stalked by a man when she was in France recently.

DNA learnt that Hrithik Roshan and Barbara got panicky when they suddenly realised that someone was following the actress like a shadow in Cannes when they were walking the red carpet.

The man was rounded up by the Kites team when he tried to breach their security entourage and was quizzed about his credentials. But surprise, surprise! This man was actually specially hired to protect Barbaras neck!

A source who was witness to the incident revealed, "The Kites team was in for some real panicky moments when Hrithik suddenly informed them at Cannes that he had spotted a man who was following him and Barbara. The on-screen pair were to walk on the red carpet at the event and were together all the time along with Rakesh Roshan."

However, things got sorted out quickly after the crew questioned him. "It was revealed that Chopard, who had provided Barbara with an invaluable neck piece, were concerned about the safety of it as well as Barbara. Accordingly they had instructed someone to watch over it. He was following Barbara from her hotel to the Cannes red carpet and she didn't even realise this. Everyone breathed a sigh of relief when the truth was revealed."
