After entertaining fans on the small screen, butt kickin' Buffy is back to grow old on the big screen. And after the enthusiasm dies; Heed this: There's no Buffy in there.
The Vampire Slayer in it's attempt to translate slaying those beautiful vampires to cinema halls, has achieved the heresy of slaying it's very own Buffy, played by Sarah Michelle Gellar.
The character of Buffy was made famous by Gellar in the hit TV sitcom, originally introduced in 1992, ran for 6 years reaping legions of fans who continue their devotion.
Director Fran Rubel Kuzui, who directed the original film and executively produced the TV programme, intends to chuck Gellar and the rest of the cast, out for new actors to fight demons in a different generation.
"Everything has its moment. Every movie takes on a life at some point, and this seems like the moment to do this."
