Mumbai: Singer-songwriter and television personality Peter Andre (best known for his single Mysterious Girl) will be straining his vocal cords at the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Weekend this year. However, what's most interesting is that Amitabh Bachchan might make an entry on stage and do a jig with him.

A source says, "Peter has been confirmed by the IIFA officials and he will be belting out his biggest hits for the audiences. He is the star performer at the awards night. But rumour has it that Amitabh Bachchan might join him for a short jamming session. It will be quite a treat for the audiences if it happens."

The insider also tipped us about why Peter has been chosen as a main attraction. "Peter enjoys a great fan following among Indians and he has been a great stage performer, too. Moreover, for quite some time Peter has not come out with his own album. So he will be quite an attraction," says the source.

Peter is expected to belt out his hits like Only One, Lets Get It On, Flava, I Feel You and Insania among others. The 36-year-old English-born Australian musician currently produces music in the genres of pop, R&B and reggae.

He was discovered on the Australian TV talent hunt New Faces in 1990. He was married to Katie Price aka Jordan for three-and-a-half years before heading for separation on May 11 this year. They have a baby boy, Junior Savva Andrea and a daughter Princess Tiaamii.

In fact, recent reports have suggested that Peter wants a joint custody of his kids and all his stuff back from his estranged wife after their divorce.
