On one of the websites, gizmodo.com, the actor's pictures have been used to promote lingerie products. The other one is an Indian website on Hindi films.
While addressing a press conference on Friday afternoon, Jaitley said ''When I saw those pictures on the websites, I realised that they had been morphed. They were obscene and vulgar. Only the face is mine, the body belongs to somebody else.
"I have filed a complaint with the cyber cell of the Crime Branch. And the law has to take its course now. I just want to make sure that people who have harmed my reputation and dignity will be prosecuted.I am sure the police will also help me in that."
Rakesh Maria, joint commissioner of police, crime, said, "We received a written complaint on Friday afternoon. According to her complaint, the two websites have used her pictures without seeking her permission. Also she claims that the websites have morphed the pictures. The Cyber Crime Investigation Cell (CCIC) of the crime branch will conduct further investigation the case".
According to Celina's spokesperson Parag Desai, claimed this could be an act of vengeance. "A few months ago, Jaitley had refused to work with a photographer and walked out of a photo shoot. The photographer did not return her pictures and it could be the same photographs which now have been morphed and used on these websites".
He added "The person who has posted these photographs has done with an intention to defame her image and should be punished for the act."
