At last year's IPL, Arjun Rampal rooted for best buddy, Shah Rukh Khan's, team Kolkata Knight Riders. 

So when asked if the actor prefers the New York Yankees or KKR, he replied, "No! I wouldn’t want to own a piece of the New York Yankees simply because I don’t like baseball that much. I prefer cricket. And yes, I’d love to own a cricket team someday. Maybe one day when Shah Rukh is selling a stake from his share of the ‘Knight Riders’, I’ll definitely buy some. Because I really like that team.”

After the jinxed season for KKR, perhaps he would get the opportunity to own the team. With rumors of Shah Rukh Khan wanting to sell KKR rife, it seems this dosti might turn into a partnership yet. We will have to wait and watch.
