Raghu Ram, executive producer of MTV Roadies, was in the city to campaign for Mallika Sarabhai, the independent candidate from Gandhinagar.

Raghu and other supporters undertook a rally from Iskon Mall on SG highway to Natarani, where he engaged in discussions on politics and the role of the youth. When asked about Varun Gandhi, he said, "Varun is an idiot. Rahul is better."

Regarding who he will vote for, he said, "I have not decided yet. But it is advisable to vote for an unknown devil than a known one. The known devil is good for nothing; whereas one can take a chance with an unknown devil, who may do good."
