Washington: After dumping John Mayer, actress Jennifer Aniston has now set her eyes on 300 star Gerard Butler, who was previously rumoured to be dating Hindi film actress Priyanka Chopra.

The Friends star, who has often been termed 'unlucky in love', reportedly had a secret fling with the Scottish actor during the Toronto Film Festival last year. Single again, Aniston is trying to get back in touch with Butler, the Daily Mail reported.

"They had a fling at the Toronto Film Festival last year, but it was all kept very quiet," a source told the publication. "Now Jennifer's single again, she's no longer keeping her admiration for him secret."

Aniston, who turns director with Goree Girls, a film about an all-girl country and western band which becomes a hit in jail.

The actress reportedly asked Butler to star with her in the film. She is also keen to book her 39-year-old newfound love for another untitled movie later this year.

"Jen has said they have fabulous chemistry and would be great on screen together," the source said. "She has put tremendous pressure on her agent to get these projects to go ahead."

Butler has previously dated Hollywood actress Cameron Diaz and British supermodel Naomi Campbell. He has also been linked with Chopra, 26, whom he met at the inaugural ball of the super luxury resort Atlantis in Dubai, the newspaper reported.
