Mumbai: Randeep Hooda has been signed to play Raja Ravi Verma in the movie titled ‘Rang Rasiya’. Ravi will play a painter, who creates controversy in the 18th Century by painting nude women. Nandana Sen will play the character of ‘Sugunabai’ a sensuous woman, who posed nude for Varma and he eventually fell in love with her.

Rang Rasiya required the willowy actress to dress and look a certain way — a young Maharashtrian girl with long hair, light eyes, waist chain and a nose ring. She also gained five kilos for the role since she had to look voluptuous rather than thin.
