Sameera Reddy hasn't had a problem with shorter men in Bollywood because she has never been paired opposite them here.

But then this pretty girl went down south to act in a Tamil film Varnam Aayiram, her hero the firebrand Suriya, ended up being much shorter than her.
Left with no option, the director and the choreographer of the film had to ensure that she was crouching all the while when shooing with the hero.

The hero refused to take a stool and stand while giving his shot…Thankfully the film has been a huge hit and Sameera's crouching has yielded results for her.

Thankfully her next hero Ajith in another Tamil movie Asal is taller than her.

"But I am looking forward to my Hindi movie as well with Nagesh Kukunoor called Yeh Hausla. That film will change the way my career is going in Bollywood," says Reddy.
