Katrina Kaif seems to ride on more than one horse at a time. Recently, news of her turning producer came and now Kat is trying her hand at singing too.

Katrina Kaif is all set to sing professionally…and that too for Oscar winner composer AR Rahman. He is composing an album for children which will have nursery rhymes and inspirational songs. The album will be releasing early next year.

Initially, Katrina was only supposed to be part of  the music video but  now after watching her progress at the box-office, Katrina has been asked to sing a few songs in the album.

It was initially suggested that Katrina will sing Rahman's compositions in English but now she will be singing hindi songs too. She has a heavy British accent and has just started taking hindi lessons.

Katrina says, "Why not? I'm always in for new challenges. Singing in itself was a challenge because I've never sung professionally. Singing in English would've been a convenient challenge."

"But I'd rather take the uncomfortable  route. So why not me singing in Hindi?" People’s constant dig at her poor hindi led her to take hindi classes aand according to the actress now she speaks the language quiet well.
