Complaint filed against New York

new_york_400A budding filmmaker, as per the latest reports, has accused Yash Raj Films of using her story idea for their recent release NEW YORK.

A complaint has already been filed with the writer's association about the alleged plagiarism.

The director of the recent release NEW YORK has termed these accusations as cheap publicity gimmicks.

According to the complaint made by the newbie, Yash Raj Films has used her story idea without her knowledge.

In a story published about the incident the girl has also accused the production house that she was not even given the credit for her story.

Issues over plaigiarism are not new in B-Town. Currently filmmaker Ravi Chopra is facing plagiarism charges from a leading Hollywood production over the remake rights of one of their films.
