Mumbai: Koena Mitra's statements against the producers of her last release 'Anamika' have left them fuming. Mitra in a callous statement had mentioned that people who are not financially solvent should not make films as was in the case of her previous release 'Anamika'. Mitra was seemingly seething against the low marketing blitz that Anamika had as compared to her other movies.

The said producers Shyam and Narendra Bajaj are some of the softest spoken people in the film industry and Koena's statements haven't been well received. "It is sad that Koena has been resorting to these kinds of statements for cheap publicity. One understands that she has not been in the news because of her surgery. But that does not mean that she can say anything against people and get away with it as well," says a source close to the producers.
