Mumbai: Versatile playback singer Kavita Krishnamurthy was felicitated recently in Trivandrum. She was awarded the Swaralaya Yesudas Best Singer Award in a glittering ceremony by the renowned singer KJ Yesudas himself.

Both artists also rendered songs at the ceremony.

AR Rahman won this award last year.
