London: Hollywood actress Scarlett Johansson, who married actor husband Ryan Reynolds secretly, reveals that she was on top of the world when he proposed to her.

Imdb.com reports that Johansson insists the proposal was expected and not a surprise, but she was still overwhelmed with emotion.

"I wasn't surprised that it was happening, but anyone being presented with a beautiful diamond ring, as a girl, you just squeal with delight. You say you can't believe it, but of course you really can," she said.

The couple married secretly in Reynolds' native Canada in September, a year after they began dating, and four months after he popped the question to her.
