London: Troubled singer Amy Winehouse is on the verge of divorcing her husband Blake Fielder-Civil so that she can leave her troubled past behind and move on.

Fielder-Civil was released from Highpoint Prison in Suffolk Wednesday after striking a deal with prosecutors for an early release. He was sentenced to 27 months behind bars earlier this year after being convicted of causing actual bodily harm and perverting the course of justice.

After being released, Fielder-Civil has checked into a drug treatment centre in Surrey, south east Britain, in a bid to kick his addiction to narcotics as part of the bargain. But Winehouse has yet to visit her spouse since his release and shes reportedly "seriously considering" putting an end to her short-lived marriage.

"I dont know if I want to be with him. Everything has changed. Im trying to move on and I cant take the pain any more. Im still thinking about whether to see him." Winehouse was quoted as saying by contactmusic.com.

A source close to the singer added: "Things are really bad between her and Blake. She doesnt know any more if hes the one. Itss really sad but this could be the end."

Winehouse wed Fielder-Civil in a surprise ceremony in Miami, Florida in May 2007.
