anilkapoorLondon: Ticket to Hollywood! Thats what veteran Bollywood star Anil Kapoor wants.

The Bollywood actor, who has acted in nearly 100 Hindi movies and won innumerable awards over the years, wants not only to act in Hollywood movies but also to produce them.

"Of course. Why not?" he said when asked whether he is planning to take a role in international cinema.

"Not only act but I also want to produce films with international directors," he said.

Kapoor, who was here for the release of the film "Slumdog Millionaire", termed his new wish as "future line".

The actor has put up a splendid role as Prem, the TV shows quiz master, in the film "Slumdog Millionaire" based on Indian diplomat Vikas Swarups award winning novel Q amp; A.

Describing his role in the British production, as challenging, he said: "I never played the role of a TV host. That itself was exciting. It was a big challenge. And the TV programme, Who Wants to be a Millionaire, has been hosted by some of the great names and popular world-wide."

"In the film I had to rise to the occasion. That pressure was there - the pressure of doing the character. I knew it was not a cake-walk. I was working with an International director Danny Boyle. I had to satisfy him also. I was taken in the film without any audition. They took me as an actor, an actor who can deliver."

The actor was all praise for director.

"What was great about Danny Boyle was, he was so humble. He let me act. Even instructions, he used to just whisper. Instructions were minimal."

The film in which Irfaan Khan acts as an Inspector, will be released in five cities of USA on November 12.

Ace composer A R Rahman has composed music for the film.

Asked about his future projects, Kapoor said his next film "Yuvraj" will be released on November 23."It is my 7th film with Subash Ghai," he said.

On the future of Indian cinema, the actor said: "you will see better and better films. I can see the trend change rapidly. The time has come for Indian films to be international.

"Any trash film is going to be rejected. People want to see films which are realistic but still entertaining. Teenagers, and those who are in the age group of 14 to 25 are going to be the main audience. They are going to decide the trend of films," he added.
