Akki’s son to make his debut?
Wednesday, October 22, 2008 05:13 [IST]

You might get a chance to hear Akshay Kumar’s six-year-old son Aarav Bhatia speaking in the voice of a squeaky baby elephant for the forthcoming anime film Jumbo.

Sources associated with the project say that Akshay Kumar, who is lending his voice for Jumbo, the protagonist, for the first time, may allow his son to do the voiceover for the baby Jumbo.

“Akshay is considering his son Aarav’s voice for that of Jumbo, the baby elephant. That is the only voice that has not been finalised yet. But he doesn’t want this assignment to interfere with Aarav’s studies or exams,” says a source.

Akshay is so excited about the film that he has already involved his mother-in-law Dimple Kapadia in it. She will be  giving the voiceover for Akshay’s mother in the film.

“Paresh Rawal will give the voiceover for Akshay’s friend  while Lara Dutta will dub as Jumbo’s girlfriend who eventually becomes his wife,” the source adds.

Jumbo is the story of an abandoned baby elephant who  misses his father and longs for his family. He eventually sets out to look for his his father. Jumbo is expected to release on December 18.
