Rock On has turned into a success at the box office but how did Abhishek Kapoor cope with his disastrous directorial debut two years back with Aryan - The Unbreakable? “I won’t deny that I was shattered after the poor box office returns of Aryan - The Unbreakable. My self confidence went quite low and it took my quite some time to gather myself all over again and begin work on my next project. I agree that the film had its flaws and Rock On is a far superior film in comparison. Still, I know that those who saw the film didn’t really hate it. It was horrible promotion which completely killed it even before its release. There were so many delays and rescheduling in terms of theatrical release and by the time it arrived at theaters, no one even knew about it.”
