When every other star is going out of his way to promote his film and cashing in on every opportunity to talk about a forthcoming release, here's Salman Khan who walking on the other end of the line.

Though the filmmakers of Salman Khan's forthcoming film Hello are drawing up extensive pre-release promotion plans, Salman Khan, the star attraction of the film, who is currently busy with his shooting schedules, wont be able to attend any of this.

Atul Agnihotri, the director of the film, denies rumours that they had to change the pre-release promotion plans because Salman had to suddenly travel abroad for shooting. It has been rumoured that the film originally planned the promotions mainly around Salman. Even the promos and music videos that are on air project Salman as the selling point of the film.

"We have some good plans to promote our film. We will be travelling to some call centres, visiting different cities where Chetan Bhagat's novel was a roaring success and do some events there too. Salman, unfortunately, cannot be with us for all these things as he will be busy shooting. He will be missed for sure," the director says, smiling.

Atul adds, "Who has told you that our promotional plans were only focussing on Salman? We knew two months back that Salman bhai is going to be busy and so we modelled our promotions without him. Chetan is very much the star of the film as anyone else and so a lot of promotional activities are centred around him too. We cant expect Salman to be always there to bail us out of everything."

The director also threw some light on why almost all promos and videos focus on Salman. "The film does not have much scope for music videos. There were originally three songs and then the Hello soundtrack was created. Out of these four videos two feature Salman. So, there is not much to offer to audiences other than these four videos and all of them are on air," he ends.
