The actress admits to some obsessive compulsive disorders even as she prefers to remain mum on her relationship with Ranvir Shorey

Off late, there have been speculations about her relationship with co-star and friend Ranvir Shorey but actress Konkona Sen prefers to keep ‘mum’ on the same.

Surprising, in an age when most actors and actresses do come out in the open about their relationships, for in the present day and age, real life relationships do not affect reel life performances.

Yet, the actress is adamant about the fact that, “I will not talk about my private life.” She maintains, “I am very old-fashioned and do not like to talk about my private life.
The fact that people are talking has never stopped me from doing things or going out. I may or maynot be in a relationship but I do not want to justify myself to anyone. At most, I will talk to a few of my close friends and family members. Today, questions come about whether I am seeing someone, tomorrow the questions may be about whether we are still going out together.”

When asked about her close friends, and does Ranvir rank in them, she says, “He is a comfortable person to work with and be with because he is comfortable in his own skin. He is not very complicated.”

What Konkona did admit to was that she does have some OCDs (obsessive compulsive disorders). “I like to maintain a balance in my life,” she says. “If my elbow is on the table at a particular angle, the other elbow too must be resting at a similar angle.”
She is also obsessive about the neatness and tidiness of her home, the fact that her table mats have to match. And, she confesses to some obsessions that extend to her toilet habits too. For an actor who seeks to be perfect on screen, this kind of obsession seems a natural extension in her real life too!
