"I had great fun shooting for Money Hai..."
Wednesday, July 23, 2008 03:43 [IST]

sophie3Money Hai Toh Honey Hai, the comedy releasing this week, has a surprise element in the form of Sophie Chodhry. Though this Ganesh Acharya directed film has Celina Jaitley and Hansika as the leading ladies with Esha Deol in a special song and dance appearance, Sophie too has been added to the star cast so as to up the glam quotient of Money Hai Toh Honey Hai.

Confirms multifaceted Sophie who has been active on number of fronts like music videos, VJ, host and of course acting, "Makers of the film had requested that I be a part of the film. I couldn't say no since there are quite a few reputed names involved. I consented to play a part where I will be sharing screen space with Govinda."

How was it working for the film? It must have been a picnic considering Money Hai Toh Honey Hai is an out and out comedy with ample fun moments. Also, she wasn't quite required to don the responsibility of being one of the leads. "It indeed was great fun and I got a chance to interact with lot of interesting people on the sets of the film", reveals Sophie, "I went to shoot in Mauritius and it indeed was holds-no-bar fun out there. Even though it was a short stint, I came back with fond memories."

What else is happening beyond Money Hai Toh Honey Hai? "Currently, all my energies are focused on Daddy Cool. It is one 'dhamaal' film which I am doing with Indra Kumar. In fact this week itself, I would be shooting for a fantastic number. The film also stars Sunil Shetty, Aashish Chaudhary, Aarti Chhabria and Tulip Joshi", says Sophie excitedly.

Talking about her upcoming films, Sophie goes on to add, "Of course there is Alibaug about which I am hugely excited since the time I started shooting for it. Freeze is progressing well too. Overall, I am happy with the way things are looking up for me. Every year has played a good role in my progression as an actor and with the bunch of films I have in hands, it is only going to get better in months to come."
