Ameesha is off to South Africa for a month. She would be shooting non stop for Chatur Singh Two star with Sanjay Dutt and company.

She says, “It is an out and out comedy and it’s inspired from Pink Panther. That’s it. I am not allowed to say anything further. It is a total time pass. Just leave-your-brains-at-home kind of a comedy. I am loving my role in it.”

But probe her a little and Ameesha babes is out with one mock grouse. “I will be the only woman amongst so many men. But no issues, I am sure I will enjoy myself,” she says with a smirk.

Comedy, Ameesha discovered is the toughest to do. She admits, “I touched on comedy a little in Honeymoon Travels Pvt. Ltd. And I loved doing it. Later when I received an offer to do Bhul Bhulaiya. I did the film only for Priyadarshan and of course, I ended up loving the experience,” she says.

Ameesha says she is still looked at by a section of Bollywood as the tragedy queen and its time she changed the perception.

“I am so grateful to Kunal (Kohli) and Aditya (Chopra) for offering me this fab role in Thoda Pyar Thoda Magic. I played this ultimate airhead woman. I am glad I could manage it. The role was very dicey… I could have ended up receiving flak if I had gone even one bit overboard and made it irritating. I was very scared. I had to prove to myself that I can pull off such a role. I am so happy with the kind of response that the role has got.”

Talking about comic roles, Ameesha says that she has got one more in her kitty, “I am doing this completely crazy movie called, Run Bhola Run with Govinda.”

Thanks to Govinda that Ameesha could manage to take some days off for a holiday recently.

She says, “There were some issues with Govinda’s dates so the shoot had to be cancelled for 10 days. I happily took advantage of the situation and went off on a vacation to London and Paris.”

Now that she has a new beau, Kanav Puri she needs those snatches of holidays all the
more.

“You are right,” she says with a giggle.
