Katrina Kaif was over the moon on her birthday on July 16 even though had fever along with cough-and-cold. There were reasons for this. First of all, boyfriend Salman Khan took a day off from work to spend the day with her. Secondly her mother Suzanne and sister Isabelle flew down from London to be present with her on her big day.

Katrina had planned a  small get-together with a few select friends from the film industry. “I don’t make a big deal out of my birthday. It’s just another working day for me,” said Katrina.

However, what Katrina didn’t bargain for was the presence of the media outside the venue.

Our source said, “Katrina was busy with interviews for Singh is Kinng till around 5 pm on July 16 at Mehboob studios. She wanted to reach home early and be with her mother and sister and also prepare for the quiet birthday party.”

The informer added, “But somehow the news leaked out and Katrina wasn’t too happy about it. She did not want any intrusion into this private get-together and so lost her cool,” the source says.

Even Salman was not evidently too happy on seeing the media. Katrina’s publicist, however, denied the information that she was unwell.
