Apoorva Agnihotri seeks refuge from city life in Karjat

Apoorva Agnihotri is a relaxed man these days. In order to move away from the din and bustle of Mumbai, the actor has just got himself a farmhouse in Karjat.

Apoorva says, “The deal has been finalised and I have started paying the instalments. This is one of the most incredible places I have come across and it really gives me a great high to be an owner of such a beautiful piece of property.”

It all started out with a visit to a close friends farmhouse. “Whenever I got time, I used to relax there with my family. I have got used to the calm and composed environment over there. It really inspired me to own my own place. I am happy that I have finally bought one,” he says.

Being a part of the small screen industry which has a daily hectic schedule, Apoorva finds solace away from the city. “If you stay in the city for a long time, it just gets to you. The ever increasing pollution, the space problem coupled with lack of greenery just takes a toll on your life. To top it all, I work in an industry where a gruelling working schedule is part of the job. So, this farmhouse was an investment that was long overdue,” he says.

Currently doing Ek Se Badhkar Ek on Zee along with a weekly soap Radha Ki Betiyaan Kuch Kar Dikhayegi. “One reality and one fiction, I think this is a good mix for me as a professional,” he adds.
