When she learnt that she and BIG B were shooting at the same studio, Sania Mirza expressed a desire to meet him, reports  Prithwish Ganguly

It seems that India’s ace woman tennis player Sania Mirza is a diehard Amitabh Bachchan fan. Recently, she was in Mumbai shooting for an advertisement at Mehboob Studios. She got to know that the Big B was also shooting in the studio next door for The Making of Sarkar Raj.

She was so keen about meeting Big B that she immediately sent a word across to the Sarkar Raj crew that she wished to meet him if he was free. A source reveals, “Sania was really excited to know about Bachchan’s proximity and was anxiously waiting that the answer be a yes. When he gave her a green signal, her happiness was apparent.” In fact, Big B requested her to come over to his sets immediately.

When Sania stepped on the sets, she was  greeted very warmly by him. The tennis star was apparently awe-struck meeting him face to face.

The insider adds, “Amitabh was very forthcoming. All those present there  alsogreeted her very warmly. They chatted for a while. She also saw the promos of the film, which she appreciated. She wished him good luck and promised that she would watch the film.” Well, Amitabh surely has a fan following that transcends generations. Doesn’t he?
