Preity Zinta will make a blink and miss appearance at  Cannes only to return and cheer her Mohali team in Delhi

The who’s who of the world film fraternity is going to be there throughout the ongoing Cannes film festival. But for Preity Zinta, this prestigious event is not more important than her presence at the Indian Premier League matches.

Preity flew to Cannes for a pit-stop like appearance but will not prolong her visit there. She will return to cheer her team Mohali’s next IPL match against the Delhi Daredevils scheduled for Saturday in Delhi, an insider said.

“Preity has made it a point to be with her team for all the matches and is even ready to sacrifice her Cannes visit for her team’s next match,” the source said adding, “Unlike other stars who will be there throughout the film festival, Preity is not interested in prolonging her visit.”

The source revealed, “For Preity, being with her team is more important now than anything else. When she is with her team, she does not ponder about her film shoots or anything else. As of now it is only cricket on her mind  and heart.”
