Mumbai: Mithun Chakraborty's son Mimoh has none other than the mighty Amitabh Bachchan as competition. But the newcomer is unfazed.

Releasing along with Mimoh's launch film 'Jimmy' is the Big B starrer 'Bhootnath'.

"All I can say is: May the better film win! We've worked really hard to make our film special," Mimoh said.

"Yes, there was a delay in the release of 'Jimmy', but that was for the betterment of the product. We added two huge songs and polished up the product as much as we could. Today, I can proudly say we've created a film we can be proud of."

What about those who feel Mimoh is privileged as a star son?

"Who says I didn't have to struggle? I've trained and prepared just as hard as anyone and my disappointment if my film doesn't work would be just as strong as a debutant who isn't born in an actor's family."

Added Mithun, the proud father: "When I saw Mimoh dance, I realised he's much, much better than I ever was."
