London: Rocker Jamie Hince, who is dating supermodel Kate Moss, got involved in a hotel bust-up.

The mirror.co.uk reports that he was involved in a fight with the police. The police had to be called after guests complained that the band was too noisy when they tried to shoot a video in their suite without permission. The rockers did not heed the staff's warning to be quiet.

Alison Mosshart, Hince's band mate, recalled how the cops rushed in and surrounded the film crew.

She said: "They demanded the tapes. They were called because we woke up some silly b****** who couldn't take her hands off the phone to the front desk."

A source said: "It sounded like they were having a riotous party with shrieking and laughing. It was the early hours and people were none too impressed," said a source.

"The police thing was a massive over-reaction but no one was arrested," added the source.
