London: Rock star Sting has bought a five-bedroom luxury apartment in New York for 13.4 million pounds ($26 million).

The 43-storey building has an indoor swimming pool and separate quarters for domestic staff, reports thesun.co.uk.

Sting will move into the house late this year. The 56-year-old singer and his wife Trudie Styler also have homes in London, Los Angeles, Tuscany and a 60-acre estate in Wiltshire.
