London: Actress Cameron Diaz says she always wanted to be a zoologist.

The mirror.co.uk quotes her as telling a magazine: "I wanted to study the sociology of animals. But that's pretty much what I do now anyway."

Diaz, who featured in hits like "The Mask", "There's Something About Mary" and "My Best Friend's Wedding", was romantically involved with pop superstar Justin Timberlake but broke up recently.

More recently, she is rumoured to be dating "300" star Gerard Butler but both have denied this.
