Udaipur: Ekta Kapoor, producer of TV serial Kyun Ki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, and actress Smriti Irani who essayed the lead role in the soap opera, today offered prayers at Nathdwara's Srinathji temple, about 40 km from here.

They prayed for the success of the serial in which Irani is due to make a comeback in the role of Tulsi, a priest of the temple said.

Kapoor and Irani had parted ways some time ago and the serial had been running without the protagonist, but now, the two "invoked the blessings of Lord Srinathji" for success of their new venture, he said.
