Demi Moore has revealed that she used blood-sucking leeches as part of a beauty treatment in Austria.

The actress said that the “highly-trained medical leeches” helped detoxify her blood and ensured her health was “optimised”.

Speaking on The Late Show With David Letterman, she said’ “I’ve always been somebody looking for the cutting edge of things that are for optimising your health and healing, so just a week ago I was in Austria doing a cleanse and part of the treatment was leech therapy. Moore said, “I’m feeling detoxified right now.”
