London: British pop star Robbie Williams is getting more obsessed with extra terrestrials and is spending a lot of time visiting observatories in the Arizona desert.

Thesun.co.uk reports that he spends about 18 hours, seven days a week visiting observatories. Williams has been looking through telescopes for any sign of life on other planets.

He has visited the National Optical Astronomy Observatories in Arizona. He is now even considering buying an observatory costing 2.5 million pounds ($5.03 million).

"Some of Robbie's acquaintances in LA have been having a chuckle at his expense. He is leading a bizarre existence at the moment - vanishing into the desert to look at stars in far-flung galaxies. He is dead set on buying himself his own observatory in the desert. He is hooked on all things from outer space," said a source.

Williams has also recently befriended David Icke, who believes leaders like George W. Bush and Tony Blair are reptilian aliens disguised as humans.
