Aamir Khan’s brother Faisal Hussain when he made his ‘guest’ appearance at the music launch of H S Haroon’s film Memsahab directed by Arshad SiddiquiKhan had invitees shocked . The film also has Yukta Mookhey playing a sex-worker-turned-actress.

A few months ago, there was a legal tug-of-war between Faisal’s father Tahir Hussain and brother Aamir over his custody as he was allegedly suffering from a mental illness.

Faisal, who has now added Hussain to his name said, “Yes, I am going bonkers but only about wanting to come back to acting. I also plan to direct a romantic thriller. Whilst I was wrongly confined in a hospital and the asylum, I utilised that time to complete my script. I’m planning to get into direction this year, just as Aamir bhai did last year with Taare Zameen Par.

The moment I finalise the lead hero—someone who has a macho cum romantic image like Salman Khan, Saif Ali Khan, Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgan or even Aamir bhai,  I will commence shooting,” insists Faisal who does not wish to give up his passion for goat-farming either.

Faisal, who has assisted his father in the film Tum Mere Ho and cousin Mansoor Khan in Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak and Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikander, later acted in Mela.
Would he be approaching Aamir to support his venture?

“Honestly, I would prefer to work independently or maybe get support from an outside production house. I don’t look forward to any financial support from either my dad or Aamir bhai.”
