London: Actor Jude Law nearly got into trouble when he confused Yorkshire and Lancashire in a bar.

Law was in north London at a place called Clifton Arms, mirror.co.uk reports.

A source said, "Jude overheard this guy ordering a pint of mild and asked where his strong accent was from. The bloke said Yorkshire, but almost spat in his pint when Jude said, 'That's a coincidence, my mum is from Lancashire'."

Luckily, the situation was defused and no brawl ensued.
