Television artiste Deepshikha will be seen as a nosy page 3 journalist in media magnate Nari Hira’s Bhram and the character is loosely based on a well-known columnist.

Deepshikha’s character thrives on writing spicy news about the rich and famous and she is perpetually on the lookout for controversies. Her latest target in the movie is an investment banker, played by Milind Soman. She is all out to expose and destroy his reputation.

“I am playing the character of a good looking but nosey page 3 journalist who is on the lookout for scoops and scandals,” said Deepshika. Deepshikha’s look and dressing style are based on the columnist’s look and personality. “The character is stylish with classy saris and funky jewellery. But the character is very bitchy,” added Deepshika.

Slated for a March 14 release, Bhram is a thriller directed by director Pawan Kaul and also stars Dino Morea, Sheetal Menon and Simone Singh.
