London: Britney Spears' family will now have to face even more controversy as her uncle William reveals that the pop star's younger sister Jamie Lynn was unplanned.

Spears' father James Parnell reportedly demanded a paternity test to ensure that he was Jamie's father, contactmusic.com reports. 

William believes "history is repeating itself" because Jamie was unplanned and the 16-year-old herself is pregnant right now. William said that Jamie's father was concerned when he heard from her mother Lynne Irene that she was pregnant because he had had a vasectomy after their second child. 

William said: "Jamie got awfully mad. He said it couldn't be his."

William continues that his older brother then asked for a paternity test and added: "That's why they named her Jamie Lynn, to kind of make the point that she was from both of them."
