Angelina Jolie and partner Brad Pitt will raise their next child in France to honour the actress’ late French-Canadian mother.

Jolie, contrary to reports, is expecting just one child and not twins as speculated, thesun.co.uk reports. The couple have a daughter, and they also have three adopted children.

“Angelina has been told she is expecting a girl. She’s thrilled,” revealed a source.

Jolie’s mom died last year and she wants to embrace her French heritage by bringing up her child there. The couple has bought a chateau in the south of France and want to make it their family home. 

“Angelina is proud of her French roots and wants her latest addition to be born and raised there,” added the source.
