 A slight (apparent) alteration in life story of Emperor Akbar and Queen Jodhabai and you will find people up in arms, as experienced in the past few days. But on a more genuine note, whom would a film like Jodhaa Akbar really affect? Historians, revolutionists, Royal family or state. Well, among all of them, consider kids who have to keep learning and memorizing how many wives Akbar had - three, four or thirty four? Was Jodha really Akbar's wife or Salim's, if Jodha is Salim's wife then who is Nur Jahan and where exactly does Anaarkali fit into all of this.
Therefore, while the historians settle the issue of what's the real history, students probably might demand a break from the subject coz never know when another version of history might come up.
